Human STAC3 ELISA Kit (HUFI06315)

The STAC3 (SH3 and cysteine-rich domain 3) protein is a key regulator of excitation-contraction coupling in skeletal muscle, where it associates with the dihydropyridine receptor complex on the T-tubule membrane. Loss-of-function mutations in the STAC3 gene are the established cause of Native American myopathy and confer susceptibility to malignant hyperthermia, so quantitative measurement of STAC3 levels supports research into neuromuscular disease mechanisms and skeletal muscle physiology.

Assay Genie supplies this ELISA as a 96-well plate configuration with capture antibody pre-coated onto the wells, a biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized recombinant standards, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution. The supplied protocol recommends a sample volume of 100 µL per well for serum and plasma specimens, and the antibody pair is human-specific with no significant cross-reactivity with mouse or rat STAC3.
