Human SPTAN1/Alpha-Fodrin ELISA Kit

SPTAN1, also known as alpha-fodrin, is a cytoskeletal protein (UniProt Q13813) that plays a key role in maintaining cell shape and integrity and regulates various cellular processes. Dysregulation of SPTAN1 has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders and autoimmune conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for research into disease pathology and potential therapeutic interventions. The kit is reactive with human samples and is stored at 4°C for 6 months.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375pg/ml and an assay range of 15.625-1000pg/ml. In spiked matrices, recovery rates were 86-103% (serum, average 94%), 88-103% (EDTA plasma, average 97%), and 85-103% (UFH plasma, average 95%). Precision was reported as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%.
