Human Sphingosine kinase 1 (SPHK1) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate measurement of Sphingosine kinase 1 (SPHK1) levels in human biological samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. SPHK1 is a key enzyme in sphingolipid metabolism, playing a critical role in cell signalling pathways related to survival, proliferation and migration. Dysregulation of SPHK1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, inflammatory disorders and autoimmune conditions, highlighting its importance as a potential therapeutic target. The assay uses a Sandwich ELISA format with a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.8pg/mL. Reported precision is 7.4% intra-assay CV and 9.2% inter-assay CV. Validated linearity covers serum (103-113% at 1:2, 91-101% at 1:4, 98-108% at 1:8, 86-96% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (87-96% / 97-108% / 89-99% / 99-109%) and heparin plasma (96-105% / 108-118% / 80-90% / 89-98%). Recovery averaged 100% for serum (range 94-106%) and 102% for plasma (range 96-108%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human SPHK1.
