Human Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 2 (S1PR2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of Human Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 2 (S1PR2) levels in human biological samples. The assay is reactive with human samples and validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It recognises both natural and recombinant human S1PR2 with high specificity, and the target is also known by the synonyms EDG5, Endothelial differentiation G-protein coupled receptor 5, Sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor Edg-5, S1P receptor Edg-5, and S1P receptor 2.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.22 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.2% and inter-assay CV is 8.1%. Recovery averages 97% in serum (range 91–103%) and 99% in plasma (range 93–105%). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 ranges from 83–121% depending on sample matrix (serum, EDTA plasma, or heparin plasma). S1PR2 is a G-protein coupled receptor for the bioactive lysophospholipid sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P), implicated in signalling pathways that regulate cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation, with dysregulation linked to cancer, inflammatory disease, and cardiovascular disorders.

The kit is intended for research use only. Optical density is read at 450 nm using a microplate reader. Supplied components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate solution, stop solution, and plate sealer; storage temperatures vary by component, with most stored at –20°C and several at 4°C.
