Human SPARC (SPARC) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich-format ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human SPARC (Secreted Protein, Acidic and Rich in Cysteine), also known as Osteonectin or BM-40. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich configuration with a biotin-conjugated detection antibody and HRP-conjugated avidin, producing a colour change via the TMB substrate that is read at 450 nm.

Validated for human reactivity, the kit accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and detects both natural and recombinant human SPARC with a working range of 3.12-200ng/mL and a sensitivity of 1.2ng/mL. Reported precision is 3.5% intra-assay CV and 7.1% inter-assay CV. The included Bradford Reagent allows total protein quantification for sample normalisation. The target protein has a molecular weight of 35kDa and is associated with extracellular matrix remodelling, with applications highlighted in cancer research.

Each kit supplies a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, plate sealers, Bradford reagent and manual, with components stored at -20°C or 4°C as indicated.
