SOX6 (SRY-Box Transcription Factor 6) is a member of the SOXD subfamily of SRY-related HMG-box transcription factors with established roles in chondrogenesis, skeletal myogenesis, and erythroid lineage commitment. This Assay Genie immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of human SOX6 protein in research specimens, supporting studies of mesenchymal lineage transcriptional regulation, cartilage biology, and oncological pathways in which SOX6 has been reported as a tumor suppressor in several carcinoma models.

The assay delivers an absorbance-based readout using an internal standard curve calibrated against recombinant human SOX6 reference material.
