Human Sorting nexin-1 (SNX1) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit enables precise measurement of Sorting nexin-1 (SNX1) in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The colorimetric assay is reactive with human samples and recognises both natural and recombinant human SNX1.

The kit delivers a detection range of 78-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 35 pg/mL, with intra-assay CV of 5.3% and inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Linearity in serum spans 104-114% at 1:2 dilution to 109-119% at 1:16 dilution, with comparable performance in EDTA and heparin plasma. Recovery averages 96% in serum (range 90-102%) and 98% in plasma (range 92-104%).

SNX1 is a peripheral membrane component of endosomes and the trans-Golgi network that participates in intracellular protein trafficking and retrograde transport from endosomes to the Golgi as part of the retromer SNX-BAR subcomplex. Its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders and autoimmune conditions, making it a useful biomarker for studying disease mechanisms and exploring therapeutic targets.
