Human SorCS1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA, double antibody-based kit for the quantitative measurement of human SORCS1 (SorCS1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The colorimetric assay is configured for human reactivity and uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody paired with an HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and an assay range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is documented as 87–104% for serum, 85–100% for EDTA plasma and 86–103% for heparin plasma (each n = 5). Spike-and-recovery averages are 96% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 96% for heparin plasma. SORCS1 is a protein implicated in neuronal development and function, with dysregulation reported in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, making the kit relevant to biomarker and therapeutic research in this area.

Components supplied include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, 100X biotin-labeled antibody, 100X HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual. The unopened kit is stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.
