Human Somatostatin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Somatostatin ELISA Kit is a Competitive ELISA, coated with antigen, designed for the precise measurement of somatostatin levels in human samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit is reactive with human samples and uses a colorimetric detection method. It is intended for research use only and is suited to applications in cell biology and biomarker research.

Performance characteristics quoted by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a detection range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions are reported as 88-98%, 90-102% and 86-97% for serum (n = 10); 82-95%, 83-98% and 84-100% for EDTA plasma (n = 10); and 83-99%, 83-96% and 80-93% for heparin plasma (n = 10). Recovery data are reported as 89-103% with an average of 95% for serum (n = 10), 89-102% with an average of 95% for EDTA plasma (n = 10), and 86-101% with an average of 92% for heparin plasma (n = 10).
