Human soluble Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells-1/Strem1 ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit employs a colorimetric double-antibody method for the quantitative detection of soluble Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells-1 (sTREM-1) in human samples. The kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay offers a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, with serum linearity of 85-100%, 89-104%, and 85-102% respectively. EDTA plasma showed 84-98%, 88-101%, and 87-100% across the same dilutions, while heparin plasma showed 91-96%, 85-92%, and 83-94%. Recovery rates range from 87-102% in serum (average 95%), 86-102% in EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 86-101% in heparin plasma (average 95%). The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after reaction termination.

sTREM-1 is a protein expressed on myeloid cells that plays a critical role in the regulation of inflammatory responses.
