Human Soluble Transferrin Receptor1/sTfR1 ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie, this colorimetric immunoassay enables quantitative detection of human soluble transferrin receptor 1 (sTfR1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a sandwich ELISA format with double-antibody detection, delivering a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL across a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL.

Soluble transferrin receptor 1 plays a central role in iron metabolism and serves as a marker for iron deficiency and erythropoiesis, providing insights into conditions such as anemia and chronic kidney disease. The assay is intended for research applications aimed at studying iron metabolism and related disorders.

Validation data show consistent performance across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with dilution linearity ranging from approximately 83–104% and average recovery of 94–97%. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for up to 12 months.
