Human Soluble Mesothelin Related Peptide ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Soluble Mesothelin-Related Peptide (SMRP) in human samples, supporting research into mesothelioma, a rare and aggressive cancer associated with asbestos exposure. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format and a colorimetric detection method, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It offers a sensitivity of 0.188 pmol/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 pmol/mL. Reported linearity across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls between 82% and 103%. Recovery across the same matrices ranges from 89% to 105%, with averages of 97% (serum), 96% (EDTA plasma) and 99% (heparin plasma). The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
