Human SOCS3/Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this human SOCS3 (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling 3) sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format with colorimetric detection for the quantitative measurement of SOCS3 in human biological samples. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

The kit is quoted with a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. In spiked sample testing, recoveries were 84-101% for serum (average 97%), 85-100% for EDTA plasma (average 93%), and 85-101% for heparin plasma (average 95%). Linearity at 1:2 dilution was 84-101% for serum, 85-97% for EDTA plasma, and 85-100% for heparin plasma. Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C, where they remain stable for 12 months.

The assay procedure involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin incubation, TMB colour development for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. SOCS3 is a key regulator of cytokine signalling, modulating immune and inflammatory responses, and its dysregulation has been implicated in cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases.
