Human SNX1/Sorting nexin-1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) from Assay Genie designed for the quantification of human SNX1/Sorting nexin-1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, using a colorimetric detection method. The kit is intended for cell biology research applications.

Stated sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with an assay range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85-101% / 85-103% / 85-105% for serum (n=5), 82-99% / 83-101% / 84-101% for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80-98% / 87-99% / 87-100% for heparin plasma (n=5). Average recovery is 94% for serum (range 91-99%), 99% for EDTA plasma (range 95-104%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 86-104%). Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

The procedure comprises reagent and plate preparation, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate incubation in the dark for 10-20 minutes, then stop solution and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. SNX1 is a key protein in intracellular trafficking and membrane dynamics, with roles in endosomal sorting and vesicle trafficking, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, immune disorders and neurodegenerative conditions.
