SNRPN upstream reading frame protein (SNURF) is encoded within the SNURF-SNRPN bicistronic locus on human chromosome 15q11-13, a region subject to parental imprinting and relevant to Prader-Willi syndrome and Angelman syndrome research. The Assay Genie SNURF ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of SNURF protein in human research specimens.
