The Assay Genie SNRPB immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of Small nuclear ribonucleoprotein-associated proteins B and B' in human research specimens. SNRPB encodes a core component of the heptameric Sm protein ring that wraps around U1, U2, U4, and U5 spliceosomal small nuclear RNAs, anchoring them during spliceosome assembly and pre-mRNA catalysis.

Because anti-Sm autoantibodies in systemic lupus erythematosus and mixed connective tissue disease frequently target SNRPB alongside SNRPD1, SNRPD2, and SNRPD3, this ELISA kit is used by rheumatology and autoimmunity laboratories investigating B-cell epitope spreading and disease activity biomarkers. The kit also serves RNA-biology groups studying snRNP biogenesis, Cajal body assembly, and the cross-talk between splicing fidelity and innate immune sensing.
