The SMNDC1 gene (Survival Motor Neuron Domain Containing 1) encodes a Tudor domain-containing splicing factor, also referred to as SPF30, that recognizes symmetrically dimethylated arginine residues on spliceosomal Sm and Sm-like proteins. This Assay Genie ELISA kit provides quantitative measurement of SMNDC1 protein levels in human samples using a microplate-based immunoassay with absorbance readout. The capture antibody is specific for human SMNDC1, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against homologous proteins from rodent or other non-human species under standard assay conditions.
