SMC6 (Structural Maintenance of Chromosomes 6) is a core component of the SMC5/6 complex, which functions in homologous recombination-mediated repair of DNA double-strand breaks, replication fork stabilization, and maintenance of genomic integrity. The two-antibody capture-and-detection format uses a microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and TMB substrate, calibrated against recombinant human SMC6 standard. Reagents are sufficient for one 96 Assays plate of standard curve and sample measurements, with a 100 µL sample volume applied per well.
