Human SLIT2/Slit homolog 2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this is a sandwich ELISA built on a double-antibody pair for the quantitative detection of human SLIT2 (Slit Homolog 2). It is designed to work with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is intended for cell biology research. The kit is supplied as a solid-phase format together with detection reagents, dilution and wash buffers, plate sealers and a technical manual.

Detection is colorimetric: a biotinylated detection antibody is followed by an HRP–streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after stop solution is added. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C and remain stable for 12 months under those conditions, while the coated plate and lyophilized standard may alternatively be kept at –20 °C for up to 12 months.

Performance has been characterised in serum and plasma matrices. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions (n = 5) was 87–104 %, 85–105 % and 86–105 % in serum; 87–98 %, 92–101 % and 82–99 % in EDTA plasma; and 81–89 %, 84–97 % and 82–99 % in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averaged 94 % in serum, 98 % in EDTA plasma and 95 % in heparin plasma.
