The Human SLC38A1 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides quantitative measurement of SLC38A1, also known as SNAT1, a sodium-coupled neutral amino acid transporter that mediates cellular uptake of glutamine, alanine, and asparagine. SLC38A1 supports the neuronal glutamine–glutamate cycle and contributes to mTOR pathway activation in proliferating cells, making it a target of interest in cancer metabolism and neuroscience research. The kit is supplied as a 96-well microplate pack containing capture-antibody-coated wells, detection antibody, standards, and substrate. A human-specific capture antibody minimizes cross-reactivity with homologous SLC38 transporters.
