Human SLC2A3/GLUT3 ELISA Kit

This colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human SLC2A3 (also known as GLUT3, GLUT-3, and Glucose transporter type 3, brain; Uniprot P11169), a glucose transporter protein with a key role in cellular glucose uptake. The double-antibody sandwich format is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting research within the signal transduction area.

Manufacturer linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions are as follows: serum (n=5) 87-105%, 92-97%, 89-105%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 82-101%, 85-100%, 83-101%; heparin plasma (n=5) 85-100%, 80-94%, 82-99%. Spike-and-recovery ranges and averages were 93-102% (average 94%) for serum, 95-102% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-105% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.

The workflow consists of reagent and plate equilibration, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes at 37°C, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
