Human SLC25A20 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of SLC25A20 in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid sample types. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection. SLC25A20, also known as carnitine-acylcarnitine translocase (CACT), is a mitochondrial protein involved in fatty acid metabolism and energy production, and its dysfunction is associated with metabolic and mitochondrial disorders.

Linearity has been validated in serum (n = 5) at 94-105% (1:2), 82-86% (1:4) and 80-99% (1:8), in EDTA plasma (n = 5) at 89-103%, 82-99% and 80-100%, and in heparin plasma (n = 5) at 96-105%, 88-99% and 81-96%. Spike-and-recovery performance has been demonstrated in serum (91-100% range, 94% average), EDTA plasma (85-103%, 95% average) and heparin plasma (87-95%, 91% average).

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100X), HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual. Components are stored at 2-8°C, with the microplate and lyophilized standard also storable at -20°C for longer-term storage, and the kit is stable for 12 months under recommended storage conditions.
