SLC25A13, also known as Aralar2, is a mitochondrial solute carrier protein that transports aspartate and glutamate across the inner mitochondrial membrane. Mutations in the SLC25A13 gene have been associated with citrin deficiency and hyperammonemia, supporting its use as a target in metabolic and mitochondrial research. The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Validation data for the kit includes linearity measurements for serum (93–102%, 84–101%, 87–100% at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions), EDTA plasma (86–102%, 84–89%, 82–100%) and heparin plasma (85–102%, 83–100%, 85–98%). Recovery ranges are reported as 89–105% (average 96%) for serum, 85–98% (average 92%) for EDTA plasma and 85–105% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.
