Human SLC25A12/Aralar1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human SLC25A12—also known as Aralar1, mitochondrial aspartate glutamate carrier 1, or solute carrier family 25 member 12—in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. SLC25A12 is a key mitochondrial protein involved in the transport of aspartate and glutamate across the inner mitochondrial membrane.

The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection, providing a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Validated linearity for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma shows dilution recoveries of approximately 82–105% across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, with mean sample recoveries of 92–94%. The kit is intended for signal transduction research.

Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealer, and a technical manual. Working reagents are stored at 2–8°C; lyophilized standards remain stable for up to 12 months when stored at –20°C.
