Human SIX5 ELISA Kit (HUFI06514)

The Assay Genie Human SIX5 ELISA Kit quantifies SIX5, a homeodomain transcription factor encoded within the DM1 myotonic dystrophy locus on chromosome 19q13.3 (also known as DMAHP). Because SIX5 contributes to skeletal muscle differentiation and is implicated in congenital cataract formation, this immunoassay supports research into myotonic dystrophy, ocular development, and DM1 pathomechanisms.

The kit is supplied as a complete reagent set with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized recombinant SIX5 standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution, sufficient for 96 determinations. The recommended sample volume is 100 uL per well, run alongside a standard curve of recombinant SIX5 protein.

Reagents are packaged on cold packs for transit and should be refrigerated upon arrival. The unopened kit is stable through the printed expiry when stored at the temperature indicated on the label; reconstituted standards and diluted detection antibody should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
