Human Sirtuin 4 (SIRT4) ELISA Kit

Quantitative detection of human Sirtuin 4 protein in research samples is the intended use of this solid-phase immunoassay from Assay Genie. SIRT4 is a mitochondrial NAD-dependent enzyme whose principal catalytic activity is ADP-ribosyltransferase, with additional deacetylase and lipoamidase functions documented in the literature. The protein participates in glutamine catabolism, hepatic fatty acid oxidation, insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells, and the cellular response to DNA damage. Loss of SIRT4 expression has been reported in hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric adenocarcinoma, and several other solid tumor types, frequently correlating with increased glutamine-driven anaplerosis and accelerated tumor proliferation.

The kit is configured for 96 determinations and accommodates multiple human sample matrices, including tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatant, serum samples, and plasma specimens. Standard incubation equipment, a microplate reader with visible-range absorbance capability, and routine wash buffers are required but not supplied.
