Human SIRT1/Sirtuin 1 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric, double-antibody Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human SIRT1 (Sirtuin 1) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. SIRT1 is an NAD-dependent protein deacetylase that participates in cell cycle regulation, DNA damage response, metabolism, apoptosis and autophagy, and whose dysregulation has been linked to cancer, diabetes and aging-related disorders.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/ml and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/ml. Spiked recovery averages 94% in serum (n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (n=5) and 97% in UFH plasma (n=5). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions of spiked serum, EDTA plasma and UFH plasma samples. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. Storage is 4°C for 6 months, and the kit is intended for Research Use Only.
