Human SIPA1L1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit uses a double-antibody format for the quantitative detection of SIPA1L1 in human samples. Acceptable matrices include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with reagents stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Linearity was assessed in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each) at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, returning 87-98%, 90-101%, and 95-103% for serum; 85-99%, 83-95%, and 92-101% for EDTA plasma; and 82-92%, 82-101%, and 83-93% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery testing on the same matrices produced recovery ranges of 88-102% (serum), 85-102% (EDTA plasma), and 86-99% (heparin plasma), with averages of 95%, 94%, and 93% respectively.

The procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after a stop step. SIPA1L1 has been described as a protein involved in cell migration, invasion, and adhesion, with dysregulation linked to cancer metastasis and progression, supporting its relevance as a biomarker for disease-pathogenesis research.
