Human Signal transducer CD24 (CD24) ELISA Kit

Intended for research use only, the kit is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for natural and recombinant human Signal transducer CD24.

CD24 is a GPI-anchored cell surface protein (UniProt P25063) that modulates B-cell activation responses and promotes AG-dependent proliferation of B-cells while preventing their terminal differentiation into antibody-forming cells. It plays a role in cell signaling and immune responses, contributing to processes such as cell adhesion, migration and differentiation. Dysregulation of CD24 has been linked to cancer, inflammatory diseases and autoimmune disorders, and genetic variations in CD24 are associated with susceptibility to multiple sclerosis.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 4.9% and inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 ranged from 86–114% in serum, 95–112% in EDTA plasma and 96–113% in heparin plasma. Recovery was 103% (range 97–109%) for serum and 105% (range 99–111%) for plasma.
