Human Signal transducer and activator of transcription 5A (STAT5A) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Signal Transducer and Activator of Transcription 5A (STAT5A) in samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is reactive with human samples, with specificity for natural and recombinant human STAT5A.

Key performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.8% and inter-assay CV is 9.6%. Linearity testing across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) yielded ranges of 99-111%, 82-92%, 87-97% and 106-115% for serum (N=5); 104-114%, 98-111%, 91-101% and 111-121% for EDTA plasma (N=5); and 103-112%, 93-102%, 102-102% and 89-98% for heparin plasma (N=5). Recovery averaged 98% (range 92-104%) for serum and 100% (range 94-106%) for plasma.

STAT5A is a transcription factor involved in signal transduction and activation of transcription, mediating cellular responses to cytokines and growth factors, with research relevance in cancer. The protein is localised to the cytoplasm and nucleus, translocating to the nucleus upon phosphorylation. The kit is for research use only.
