Human Signal peptide, CUB and EGF-like domain-containing protein 1 (SCUBE1) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit uses a colorimetric readout for quantitative measurement of human SCUBE1 (Signal peptide, CUB and EGF-like domain-containing protein 1). Reactivity is validated for human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human SCUBE1.

Manufacturer-stated performance figures include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, sensitivity of 0.056 ng/mL, intra-assay CV of 6.5% and inter-assay CV of 9.5%. Linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions spanned 98–125% in serum, 94–114% in EDTA plasma and 93–119% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averaged 109% in serum (range 103–115%) and 111% in plasma (range 105–117%).

SCUBE1 is a cell-surface glycoprotein expressed in platelets and endothelial cells, with a proposed function as an adhesive molecule involved in vascular biology. The product is intended for research use only.
