Also referenced as CD328 and p75/AIRM1, SIGLEC7 is a sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin that acts as an inhibitory receptor on human natural killer cells, monocytes, macrophages, and selected T lymphocyte subsets. The protein engages alpha-2,3- and alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid residues on neighboring cells, contributing to self versus non-self discrimination and restraining inappropriate innate immune activation.

Quantitative measurement of soluble human SIGLEC7 supports investigations of NK-cell exhaustion in malignancy, immune checkpoint signaling, viral infection responses, and chronic inflammatory pathway regulation. Provided by Assay Genie, this assay is supplied as a microplate kit (96 Assays) for research use only, with reagents prepared for routine laboratory workflows spanning immunology, oncology, and infectious disease studies.
