Human SIGLEC3/CD33 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human SIGLEC3/CD33 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format in which a target-specific antibody is pre-coated onto the wells of a microplate; bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin, and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 84–101% in serum, 80–101% in EDTA plasma and 87–104% in heparin plasma (n=5 each). Spike-and-recovery averaged 93% in serum, 92% in EDTA plasma and 94% in heparin plasma. The kit is shipped on ice packs and components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Siglec3 (also known as CD33) is a sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin involved in immune regulation and cell communication and has been implicated in diseases including leukemia and Alzheimer's disease, supporting applications in cell biology and immunology research.
