Human Siglec-2/CD22 ELISA Kit

A solid-phase sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of Siglec-2 (also known as CD22) in human samples. The assay uses a double-antibody configuration with a colorimetric readout and is intended for research applications in B-cell biology and immune regulation.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and working reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity has been evaluated on serum (85–103% at 1:2, 96–101% at 1:4, 83–99% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (89–101% at 1:2, 92–101% at 1:4, 88–98% at 1:8) and heparin plasma (87–104% at 1:2, 89–101% at 1:4, 81–97% at 1:8), with recovery averaging 97% (range 91–104%) for serum, 95% (90–102%) for EDTA plasma and 95% (85–104%) for heparin plasma.

Siglec-2/CD22 is a cell surface protein that contributes to the regulation of B-cell activation and survival and is implicated in immune response modulation and autoimmune disease, making it a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions and developing potential therapies.
