Human Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 10 (SIGLEC10) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 10 (SIGLEC10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay recognises natural and recombinant human SIGLEC10 and is intended for research use only.

Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Recovery in serum averaged 99% (range 93–105%) and in plasma averaged 101% (range 95–107%).

SIGLEC10 is a cell-surface protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily that functions as a putative adhesion molecule mediating sialic-acid-dependent cell binding, preferentially recognising alpha-2,3- or alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid. It may act as an inhibitory receptor upon ligand-induced tyrosine phosphorylation by recruiting phosphatase(s) such as PTPN6/SHP-1. The protein participates in immune responses, inflammation regulation, cell adhesion, inflammatory signaling and immune cell activation, and its dysregulation has been implicated in autoimmune disease, cancer and infectious disease.
