The Assay Genie immunoassay targets human SFRS8, also called SRSF8, an SR-family splicing factor implicated in alternative splicing regulation and transcript isoform selection. Researchers studying RNA processing, post-transcriptional gene control, or splicing-factor dysregulation in oncogenesis and developmental biology use quantitative measurement of SFRS8 to compare expression across patient cohorts, primary cell isolates, and tissue-derived extracts.

Reconstituted reagents and prepared standards should be stored refrigerated; standard laboratory aliquoting practices protect against repeated freeze-thaw cycles that would degrade antibody and protein components.
