The SF3B2 protein (Splicing Factor 3b Subunit 2), also known as SAP145, is a 100 kDa component of the U2 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein complex essential for pre-mRNA splicing. This Assay Genie ELISA employs a human-specific capture antibody to quantify endogenous SF3B2 levels in human cell lysates. Investigations in RNA splicing biology, spliceosome assembly, spliceosomal dysregulation in cancer, neurodegenerative pathways, and cellular differentiation can apply the microplate assay to quantify SF3B2. The kit integrates with standard plate reader analysis using a colorimetric readout in a 96 Assays well plate layout.
