Human Sex-determining region Y protein (SRY) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human Sex-determining region Y protein (SRY), also called Testis-determining factor (TDF), in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and specific for natural and recombinant human SRY (UniProt Q05066).

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL, with intra-assay CV of 5.9% and inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Linearity has been characterised across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum recovery of 87-99% and plasma recovery of 89-101%.

SRY functions as a transcriptional regulator in male sex determination, directing pre-Sertoli cell differentiation. For research use only.
