Human SETX (Probable helicase senataxin) ELISA KIT (HUFI04884)

The Assay Genie SETX ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of senataxin, a large DNA/RNA helicase essential for resolving R-loop structures, terminating transcription, and coordinating the DNA damage response. Loss-of-function mutations in the SETX gene are linked to autosomal recessive cerebellar ataxia with oculomotor apraxia type 2 (AOA2) and to a rare juvenile form of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS4). Investigators in neurodegeneration, genome stability, and RNA biology use this assay to correlate senataxin protein levels with disease status and treatment response in patient cohorts. The kit contains a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, and substrate solution sufficient for 96 individual determinations.
