Human SET ELISA Kit (HUFI06597)

Quantitative measurement of the SET oncoprotein, also referred to as I2PP2A or TAF-I, in human research specimens is supported by this 96-assay immunoassay kit from Assay Genie. SET is a multifunctional histone chaperone that inhibits the PP2A tumor suppressor phosphatase and has been implicated in the molecular pathology of acute myeloid leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia, and several solid tumors including lung and breast carcinoma. The kit is therefore commonly deployed in oncology research, signaling pathway studies, and biomarker discovery workflows that examine PP2A reactivation or chromatin remodeling.

Configured for human reactivity, the assay uses a microplate-based colorimetric workflow and accepts a small sample volume. Reagents are shipped refrigerated and should be stored refrigerated at the recommended temperature upon arrival to preserve activity, with working aliquots handled to limit freeze-thaw events.
