Human Sestrin-2 (SESN2) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Human Sestrin-2 (SESN2) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format colorimetric immunoassay designed for the quantitative measurement of SESN2 in human research samples. The kit reacts with human Sestrin-2 and detects both natural and recombinant forms of the protein.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The assay reports a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.056 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, and recovery in serum averaged 87% (range 81-93%) while plasma averaged 89% (range 83-95%). SESN2 is described as a stress-inducible regulator involved in cellular stress responses and homeostasis, with dysregulation linked to cancer, metabolic disorders and neurodegeneration.
