Human Serum response factor/SRF ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human Serum response factor (SRF), a transcription factor relevant to cellular proliferation, differentiation, and tissue development. The assay targets the SRF protein (UniProt P11831) and is intended for use within Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling research.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a detection range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 89-104%, 87-101%, and 86-101% for serum; 87-99%, 84-96%, and 87-100% for EDTA plasma; and 87-95%, 84-88%, and 80-96% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 86-105% (average 92%) for serum, 87-102% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-99% (average 91%) for heparin plasma.

Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The assay procedure involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation (37°C, 60 minutes), HRP-Streptavidin binding (37°C, 30 minutes), TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
