PON3 is an enzyme belonging to the paraoxonase family with roles in antioxidative activity and lipid metabolism, and it has been implicated in cardiovascular disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and inflammatory conditions. The kit is reactive with human samples and is supplied for research use only.

Detection is performed by colorimetric ELISA, and the kit is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human PON3. Manufacturer-reported performance figures include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL, a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL, an Intra CV of 4.6%, and an Inter CV of 8.2%.
