Human Serum amyloid A-2 protein (SAA2) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA is designed for the accurate measurement of human Serum amyloid A-2 protein (SAA2) levels. SAA2 is a major acute-phase reactant and apolipoprotein of the HDL complex that participates in the acute-phase response and positive chemotaxis. The kit is for research use only and is reactive with human samples, including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human SAA2, a secreted protein associated with the extracellular space and with chemoattractant activity.

Detection is performed by ELISA, with a stated detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 15.6pg/mL. The target protein (UniProt P0DJI9) has a reported molecular weight of 9,184 Da. Intra-assay CV, inter-assay CV, linearity and recovery data are supplied with the kit.
