Human SERPINE2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of SERPINE2 in human samples, this Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie uses a double-antibody format and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. SERPINE2 is described as a key protein involved in regulating the activity of enzymes that break down proteins, with roles in processes such as blood clotting and tissue remodeling, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammation, and fibrosis, supporting its use as a potential biomarker.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85–104%, 85–101% and 87–100% for serum (n = 5); 91–104%, 83–101% and 84–97% for EDTA plasma (n = 5); and 85–104%, 85–97% and 82–100% for heparin plasma (n = 5). Recovery ranges with averages are 85–105% (93%) for serum, 85–103% (93%) for EDTA plasma, and 86–105% (92%) for heparin plasma.

The protocol follows six steps: reagent and plate preparation; primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes; biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes; HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding at 37°C for 30 minutes; TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes; and stop reaction with absorbance reading at 450 nm. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
