Human SERPIN G1/C1INH ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human SERPIN G1 (also known as C1 inhibitor or C1INH), a serine protease inhibitor involved in regulating the complement and contact systems and in controlling inflammatory processes. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method in a double-antibody sandwich format and is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a standard range of 3.125–200 ng/mL. Reported linearity values fall within 86–105% for serum, 83–98% for EDTA plasma, and 81–97% for heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions (n=5). Spike-and-recovery performance is documented at 94–105% (average 100%) for serum, 85–101% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 86–97% (average 90%) for heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The kit supports cardiovascular research and the investigation of conditions in which Serpin G1 (C1INH) dysregulation has been implicated, including inflammatory disorders, autoimmune diseases, and hereditary angioedema.
