Human Serpin B6 (SERPINB6) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human Serpin B6 (SERPINB6) ELISA Kit is a sandwich-format immunoassay designed for the quantitative detection of human Serpin B6 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. It uses a colorimetric detection method and offers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.15 ng/mL. Serpin B6, also known by synonyms including Cytoplasmic antiproteinase, Peptidase inhibitor 6, and Placental thrombin inhibitor, is a serine protease inhibitor involved in regulating processes such as inflammation, coagulation, and tissue remodeling.

The assay demonstrates an intra-assay CV of 6.9% and an inter-assay CV of 11.3%. Linearity testing in serum (N=5) yielded 108–119%, 105–114%, 108–118%, and 91–104% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions, respectively; EDTA plasma produced 82–92%, 82–95%, 107–118%, and 90–99%; and heparin plasma produced 103–111%, 96–108%, 87–96%, and 103–114%. Recovery averaged 100% for serum (range 94–106%) and 102% for plasma (range 96–108%). The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Serpin B6 and includes the reagents required to run the complete assay workflow.
