Human Serpin B6 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the precise measurement of SERPIN B6 (also known as PI-6), a serine protease inhibitor linked to regulation of protease activity and tissue homeostasis. The assay is reactive with human samples and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Colorimetric detection is performed on a dismountable microplate with biotin-labeled detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), using TMB substrate and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. The reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with a range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, and the kit should be stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. Reported recovery averages are 91% for serum (n = 5), 98% for EDTA plasma (n = 5) and 96% for heparin plasma (n = 5), with linearity ranging from 85-103% across dilutions 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 in those matrices.
