Human Serpin B4 (SERPINB4) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Serpin B4 (SERPINB4), also known by synonyms including Leupin, Peptidase inhibitor 11, Squamous cell carcinoma antigen 2, PI-11, SCCA-2, PI11 and SCCA2. The colorimetric assay is validated for use with human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and specifically recognises natural and recombinant human Serpin B4. It is intended for research use only, with applications in cancer research.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and inter-assay CV of 7.8%. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is documented for serum (97-107%, 98-110%, 107-117%, 88-98%), EDTA plasma (96-106%, 107-117%, 92-104%, 92-102%) and heparin plasma (96-105%, 97-107%, 106-116%, 83-92%). Recovery is given as 97% (range 91-103%) for serum and 99% (range 93-105%) for plasma. Serpin B4 may act as a protease inhibitor to modulate the host immune response against tumor cells.
