Human Serpin A8/Angiotensinogen ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Human Serpin A8/Angiotensinogen ELISA Kit is a competitive, antigen-coated enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed to detect Angiotensinogen (AGT) in human samples. The kit is intended for research use only and measures the analyte in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids, and is associated with the UniProt identifier P01019.

The assay uses a biotinylated detection antibody specific to the target, with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate producing a colour change that is read spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. Sample concentration is determined by comparing OD values to a standard curve, with a working range of 0.313–20 µg/mL and a sensitivity of 0.188 µg/mL.

Reagents are shipped on ice packs and the kit components are stored at 2–8°C, with light-sensitive reagents (TMB substrate, biotin-labelled antibody, and SABC) protected from direct light. The microplate is pre-coated with the analyte of interest and the kit is supplied with lyophilised standard, sample dilution buffer, biotin-labelled antibody (100X concentrate), antibody dilution buffer, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X concentrate), SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, and plate sealers.
